Chiller Replacement
CBM Solutions provided engineering services to oversee the replacement of the office building’s chiller replacement. This included determining the chiller dimensions for dismantling and the reassembling, positioning and commissioning of the new chiller. We worked closely with the centre management of Fuji Xerox to coordinate the management of the shutdown during the replacement process to minimize disruption to building users and tenants.Data and energy consumption was monitored following the replacement to measure and affirm the anticipated energy savings. CBM Solutions also worked with the building owners to measure the energy and cost savings from this chiller upgrade to seek Green Mark Incentive Scheme funding from the Singapore Building and Construction Authority.

Chiller Replacement
CBM Solutions oversaw and coordinated the chiller replacement for Central Mall, a mixed development comprising 2 and 3-storey conservation warehouses and modern 7-storey office tower with two floors of retail space and F&B outlets. Together with strategic partners Daikin, Siemens and Command Air, the work involved the replacement of chiller 2 and 4 and piping modification, dismantling and disposal of existing chillers, overseeing the supply and delivery of new chillers, chilled water (CHWP) pumps and condenser water pumps (CW) and later stage commissioning for all.The chiller replacement work was aimed at improving efficiency performance together with piping modification which increased efficiency in terms of heat gain reduction. Other works including coordinating the supplying and installing of temperature sensors, flow meters, variable speed drive (VSD) for CHWP and CWP, BTU metering and lastly supply, install and commissioning of Energy Monitoring System from chiller upgrading.
NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine Block MD9, Singapore
Green Mark Certification
As an ESCO, CBM Solutions partnered the National University of Singapore (NUS) Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine by providing consultancy services to help the school achieve the BCA Green Mark Platinum certification for Existing Non-Residential Building for Block MD9.Our team of sustainability experts worked closely with the client, technical personnel and contractors to provide evaluation and gap analysis, design development and improvement services, calculation and documentary evidence and a Green Mark Assessment with indoor air quality audit. Complex scoring procedures and evaluations were handled efficiently to achieve a reduction in energy usage and improve the conservation of natural resources for the building.
